I am glad to hear you picked up on what I was trying to do with that one. To answer your question, no, I did not work in the movie trailer business, but I’ve watched many with a studied eye since I get to create them now. I did work on some rock music video material in the past, so you may detect something in the trailers from that, such as synchronizing the video imagery with the musical cues, that sort of thing.
